Walsin Technology material formula of RF MLCC honored with national innovation award.
October 23th, 2012 – The copper co-firable ceramic system of Walsin Technology Inc. was recently awarded with the silver medal of National Invention Award.
Replacing silver electrode with copper, this special formulated ceramic system eliminates any undesired oxidation triggered by co-firing and possess excellent dielectric characteristics at high frequency with low energy consumption.
Considering production cost, manufacturing feasibility and RoHS compliance, the new ceramic material has been successfully applied to Walsin’s RF series MLCC (NP0 type) and introduced to high-frequency applications with a great variety of products ranging from 01005 to 0805 size, 0.1 ~ 100pF in capacitance, and 16 ~ 500V in voltage.
